One of our partner clubs is setting a high standard in their phased return to soccer - Well done to Massapequa SC in Long Island!

The club, which has more than 1,000 players across its different age groups, has safely put players and families first with a stellar 'Return To Play' strategy, providing a safe COVID-free environment for everyone involved.

As well as cones and socially-distanced training drills, since July 6, Massapequa SC has provided:

  • Daily health screenings for players and coaches
  • Sanitization stations for high-touch areas
  • Storage distance markers for kitbags
  • Socially-distanced exit route separate to the entrance

Social distancing-appropriate sessions have been shared with the club's coaches through our parent company's The Coaching Manual platform, which has helped many clubs around the world throughout their phased returns to play. See their video below

Coaches have said the current measures have proved a big success, and that they will continue this way until it is announced they can return to full training.
